GARY FREEDMANAtlanta, GA, United States
May 27, 2026

Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition. The momentum is clearly building, and public awareness continues to grow across Midtown and throughout Atlanta media.  Please continue sharing this petition with neighbors, community groups, and on social media. Residents deserve transparency, accountability, and clear communication regarding the long-idle construction site, exposed structure, and crane that have remained over Midtown for years.

Many residents continue to have serious concerns about:

  • the condition of the site and crane after years of exposure to the elements
  • damaged and inaccessible sidewalks surrounding the property
  • the long-term impact on the surrounding community

Federal accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), require public sidewalks and pedestrian pathways to remain accessible and compliant when altered or impacted by construction activity. Midtown residents deserve assurance that these obligations are being properly addressed.  ALL residents deserve safe and accessible sidewalks.

This issue has gone unresolved for far too long. The community is simply asking for transparency, oversight, accountability, and confidence that the site has been properly evaluated and maintained.

Thank you again for continuing to raise your voices and support this effort.
