Highly radioactive spent nuclear fuel is to be shipped by rail through Midland, Texas for storage in Andrews County.  We are opposing the shipment of hi-level waste through Midland.  Two dump sites: the WCS/ISP site in Andrews and the Holtec site in Eddy-Lea counties in New Mexico are seeking a license to store the waste.  Midland is the 2nd fastest growing city in the U.S. and among the largest producers of oil & gas in the world. We  contribute to America's economy and national security. Our jobs, our families and our way of life are not worth the risk for the small gains to be had from hi-level nuclear waste.  We don't want it. We don't need it. We're doing just fine, thank you.
