On July 14, 2017, in an interview on Techradar, Mike Ybarra (Microsoft VP) said "We have always told the fans that if Dolby Vision is something that they’re interested in then we’ll take a look at it."

This is the petition to let them know. And this isn't just for gamers, it is also for cinephile's because the Xbox One X is shaping up to be the most powerful, best value 4K Blu-ray player on the market.

The Case: Currently the Xbox One X only supports HDR10. This is a good start, but for the One X to be the true media powerhouse MS is advertising it to be, then we need Dolby Vision and HDR10+ to be system updates. Dolby Vision is the best performing HDR format right now, and HDR10+ may match it in terms of features (look them up if you haven't already). Now Dolby Vision has been confirmed as a software update (i.e. no need for special chip/hardware), so the update should be relatively straight forward. Don't you want to watch Netflix HDR? You'll need a player that supports Dolby Vision. Amazon in HDR? Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Blu-rays are now coming out with support for these better formats too. 

This has to happen. Get it done Microsoft.
