Bring Elites/Sangheili back in Halo 6's Multiplayer

The Issue

The absence of playable elites in Halo 5's multiplayer was what many like myself considered to be a crushing loss. Time and time again people have made their complaints without understanding the problems they face themselves. Halo has always been my favorite Video game and book series and for many reasons, I must speak my mind and muster what support I have to reach out to the creators and holders of the mantle of Halo. I help to run a social media community known as "Sangheili", and it is a very friendly halo community directed towards the fans that treasure the moments involved with the elites and their stories. Admittingly as a rather hardcore fan of  the series and their their backbone alien race of warriors, I come to you all now with the many problems that the removal of elites has caused. We cannot deny the fact that developing a video game is very hard and most likely repetitive work and I myself could not do what 343 Industries has done so far. The problem is that we as the fans need to not complain to get our way, but to instead help the makers of our beloved game series and help to direct them to achieve an even bigger fan-base and to help to appease the minority that is the Sangheili/Elite Community. It is true that many machinima groups and directors have been either absent or slow in their adjustments towards these change to the series and yes it is also true that many people have refused to play the game or even purchase it with the knowledge that Elites are no longer present or playable in multiplayer. This news was already hard to accept with the release of Halo 4 yet I still purchased it. Halo 5 brought hope to us with the fact that the game would take us to the Elite home world of Sangheilios!! Yet it still felt empty with the ability to as play our treasured honor bound alien race still absent from the picture. This message carries the cries, not complaints, of those very loyal fans that were birthed from Halo 2 and grew even larger with Halo 3. The introduction to the Elites was a large point of growth for the very specific Halo fan base that we at "Sangheili" have come to represent. The Elites are a very large backbone to the Halo community. People worry about balance in gameplay, make playlist with elites not included. People claim it is unfair to have certain disadvantages/advantages playing as Elites in multiplayer, you do not have to play as them. Claiming that the removal of Playable Elites in Halo's multiplayer was justified due to balance issues or the claim that they are unnecessary and unwanted in the fan base is completely wrong and untrue. The face of Halo is the Master Chief to be sure, but the Elites make up a large part of it's backbone and many of us in this minority we call the Sangheili fan base truly want them back. We love their stories and we love playing as them and we have even gone so far as to Cos-play, draw, paint, do voice-overs, podcast, stream, twitch, and even go so far as to write our own fan-fiction to add to our own personal Halo Universe. Everyone knows that all too familiar feeling when something is missing and it leaves you feeling rather empty. In this case, with my beloved "Sangheili" Community, it is the absence of Elites in Halo that has caused this feeling.

It is with this message that we at not just "Sangheili" but the rest of the Sangheili/Elite fanbase have come together to ask 343 industries as well as Microsoft, that we love Halo, and we truly appreciate your hard work, but we miss our Alien Warriors, our brothers and sisters that we love to represent. Please 343 Industries, "BRING THEM BACK" and "On the blood of our fathers, on the blood of our sons, we will swear to uphold you, as our Covenant, and you will understand how big the sleeping giant that is the Halo Community really is.
