This petition is organized in which to create a more strict adoption process in the State of Michigan to reduce or even eliminate animal cruelty. The process as of now, Michigan only requires individuals to be at least the age of 18, and have their state ID. Although there are other factors, animals are abused physically and mentally each and every day. we propose to create a more complex process to how these individuals are getting the animals at such easy access-voice for the voiceless
