Fremont unified school district informed me that my child cannot have her IQ tested because she is African American. I was appalled! I'm doing this petition on change.org... Going to write congress.... And hopefully i can get your help to spread the word. This is ridiculous! What about equality? What happened to living in a nation where OUR children will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content if their character?! What makes my daughter any different then an Asian child? A Causasian child? An Indian child? I know that although my daughter is mixed, society will always view her as a black woman.... And as her mother I stand proud behind my daughter. She is beautiful in every way, shape, and form. She's too young to understand how screwed  up "our" society is and so innocent, she knows no color, just people. As her mother I feel it is my duty to stand up for her and EVERYBODY else out there. I said to "the man" who informed me of this that my daughter is half Puerto Rican and black. He said it doesn't matter... So does that mean that Puerto Rican people can't have their IQ tested because we consist of... Taino, European, and African???!!! I mean if you want to get technical if we go alllll the way back I'm sure there are some Caucasian people that have African American blood in them somewhere along the lines.... Even if so should everybody get DNA tested before having their IQ tested. This just really upsets me. I'm going to try my hardest and try and make a change. The most they can do is say no, deny us of our right, but at least I know that I've tried.... WE'VE tried.
