On Thursday, September 6th, the City of Knoxville shut our establishment down based on what they decided as a violation of the “nuisance law.”  When did Ebony Lounge & Events become a "nuisance?"  If we were such an unsafe environment, I doubt we would have the number of patrons we have—not just on the weekends, but during the week to come eat from our wonderful menu selection.  If we were such a “nuisance,” community groups and organizations would not only book our facility for their events, but also have us cater their events.  Who would put themselves in harms way?  No one we know.   SUPPORT THE REOPENING OF EBONY LOUNGE & EVENTS!!!!
