I am disappointed to learn that the second reading of the Criminal Driving (Justice for Victims) Bill has been delayed further to the 13th May. For far too long, victims and their families have been let down by the justice system. Sentences are too short, bail conditions for offenders not strong enough .This bill is important to lots of vulnerable road users who have signed this petition to support this bill and to demand justice for both the victims and families like mine , everyday this bill is deferred will result in further casualties. Norman Tebbit told the country to get on their bikes and even today people are encouraged to do the same but without the protection of the law it can be looked on as a death sentence especially in London and university towns where cycling is the norm on congested roads. Please continue to sign and share this petition this is not a witch hunt for sensible drivers but protection for all vulnerable road users including pedestrians ,cyclists, motorcyclists and horse riders
