Less than 48 hours to save Inter Faith Network! Could you help us reach 2,500+ signatures?
Dear all,
Thank you for signing the petition calling on Michael Gove to reverse his decision and provide the funding pledged to Inter Faith Network last summer.
Nearly 1,500 of us have signed the petition, but time is running out to secure the future of Inter Faith Network, which will close if it does not receive funding from the UK Government (or other sources) before this Thursday 22 February. This would be a huge loss to all of us working for interfaith dialogue and community cohesion across the country.

If each of us could get three others to sign, we would reach 5,000+ signatures, and if each of us could get seven others to sign, we would reach 10,000+ signatures, which would make a big impact!
On a Religion Media Centre briefing last Friday, Dr Ed Kessler, founder director of the Woolf Institute, said of Mr Gove's decision: “I think it's an outrageous decision. We’ve heard about the importance of the IFN being an umbrella organization, but the void, the gap it will leave, even for those of us engaged in the interfaith arena, will not be filled. There needs to be a coordinated body that brings together local and national organizations. I’ve never known the interfaith [dialogue] situation to be as difficult as it is right now... It has made it very difficult for groups to come together. What a time for an organisation like this to close!”
