Keep the streets of Benwell clean!

Keep the streets of Benwell clean!
The Issue
The children from Canning Street Primary School are fed up of living in an environment which is covered in litter. Along with the health and environmental issues which come with living in these conditions, they are also embarrassed that Benwell seems to be the worst area in Newcastle for littering. The children have worked hard to build a campaign to raise awareness of this issue and now they want help from the government to help in the following ways:
- Ensure that local residents have individual household bins instead of shared bins.
- Deploy street wardens to deter anti-social behaviour.
- Provide more bins on the streets.
- Hand out on-the-spot fines to people caught littering.
Please help us to get as many votes as possible so our petition can be heard in parliament and a permanent solution can be reached.
