Keep Tolls Off Our Connecticut Highways

The Issue

Hello my name is Elizabeth and I’m writing to you to help me petition Governor Dannel P. Malloy to stop his support for highway tolls in the state of Connecticut. I am writing in behalf of all the working middle and low income  class citizens who travel to and from work everyday to put food on their tables and continually live paycheck to paycheck to support their families. I am writing for these representatives to vote against these highway tolls that will impact Connecticut residents pockets. I believe Dannel P. Malloy should find another way to fund to fix our infrastructure instead of putting yet another heavy burden on middle class families as well as the low income families. I also support and commemorate the true reason why those highway tolls were removed in the first place back in 1985. Malloy’s race is closely coming to an end and the need to put his signature stamp of taxing out there is an end to his chapter as Governor, but not in the interest of Connecticut’s hard working people! More taxes, & more burdens are coming upon the tired hardworking class individuals of this State to continue to pay for the cost of living. So please sign this petition in helping to stop these Representatives and lawmakers in passing this Highway Toll “agenda” that reaches deep into our homes and pockets where it hurts the most. Thank You!
