Axolotls are one of the most amazing creatures in the world they have unbelievable abilities like the ability to regenerate almost any part of their body ,even their brains. Axolotls also stay 'babys' for their entire life. They are also one of the cutest animals. However they are native to only one spot in the entire world being Lake Chalto in the center of Mexico city this lake is being massively polluted meaning that despite all the axolotls incredible skills they are barely surviving. They have become one of the most endangered animals in the world and in 2015 scientists couldn't find a single one in the lake . Their situation is desperate but their may still be hope to clean the lakes meaning they can be reintroduced and could thrive again.
