Unite and say "I Love the Brainy Boro!"

On May 2nd, 2016, at the Metuchen Borough Council meeting the "2016-10 Ordinance Creating A Special Improvement District Within the Borough of Metuchen" was unanimously approved. I am disappointed that the council members could so enthusiastically raise the taxes on small business owners and citizens with no written plan on what this $275,000 per year bureaucracy is going to do except spend money from taxpayer's wallets. I encourage everyone to unite and support the Metuchen Chamber of Commerce and the Metuchen Downtown Alliance with the wonderful spirit of volunteerism that has always existed in this 'brainy boro." I want to thank everyone who signed this petition and spread the word for their support. The borough council meeting was overflowing with citizens, property owners, and small business owners who took the time to take part in the democratic process and voice their opinions; pro and con. I would like to thank all the friends, neighbors, tenants, business owners, supporters, and "Main Street" for placing "I Love Brainy Boro" signs and/or magnets on their lawns, cars, trucks, backhoes, in their windows, and I even saw one sign in a pine tree! One thing everyone has in common; we can all heartfully say, "I love the brainy boro!"
