TOMORROW: Tell Metro Council to Pass the Party Vehicles Bill with NO AMENDMENTS

Oct 18, 2021

Despite months of advocacy from residents, students, business owners, and Nashvillians like YOU, the party vehicles bill is at risk of being poisoned by an amendment that would allow party vehicle operators to continue to get away with unsafe, reckless behavior. In our view, any amendment is a bad amendment.

Will you show up tomorrow to tell Metro Council to pass the original party vehicles bill?

Tomorrow is the 3rd and FINAL reading of the party vehicles bill. Since the last vote, our council members have been under pressure from lobbyists and the party vehicle industry to change the bill to cater to their needs, rather than create common sense safety standards that puts everyone at risk. Your council members need to hear from YOU to remind them who they really represent – Nashvillians, not the hot tubs, tractors, buses, pontoon boats, and other contraptions that roll around on our streets unchecked.

JOIN US TOMORROW

Join us tomorrow, October 19 at 6:00 PM for the Metro Council meeting and show your support for the original Party Vehicles bill. Wear your Safe Fun Nashville T-shirt (we’ll bring extras!) and let your Council Member know that if they don’t pass the Party Vehicles bill as is, Nashville will remain an unsafe, unbearable place thanks to out-of-control party vehicles.

Will you join us?
