It's been 20 years since St. Anger has released, and of course, no word from Metallica that they would ever play the entire album live. It didn't have to be for an anniversary, it just marked a good date to do so. Metallica posted on their Instagram commemorating the 20 year anniversary, but nothing much else. I remember when we started this petition to commemorate the 15 year anniversary, and here we are at the 20 year anniversary. Pretty wild.
Anyways, my personal mission with St. Anger is not over. Maybe Metallica won't ever play the full album live, but it certainly will have other means of appreciation.
I hope everyone is well, and we can continue this petition to show we still have not given up on giving love to the most underrated album from Metallica. I certainly will never let it rest. St. Anger has made an eternal impact on me, I will never forget it.
