Here they come again!
Met Fresh is trying to use the city's FRESH (Food Retail Expansion to Support Health) program to get special tax breaks, exceptions and more to bring a new store to 302 Church Avenue, Brooklyn.
Those tax breaks are to help bring food to Food Deserts! Not for nonunion grocers looking to use public funds to profit in an area fully served with many grocery options.
There is a hearing this Thursday, April 20th at 10 am. We need emails to go to these people before the Thursday hearing!
