You have our most sincere thanks again for joining the Mercy Campaign community. As we write this message Andrew and Myuran have been moved from Kerobokan prison. It is extremely distressing to see them leaving after the years they have devoted to rehabilitative projects there. Even at this most upsetting time there is hope because we each share Andrew and Myuran’s commitment to compassion, kindness, rehabilitation and community. And we still need your help. > Please reach out to friends. Send them a personal email asking them to sign the petition. > If you can't tweet in Indonesian, you can use the service of Ampuni at www.ampuni.com. > Submit your letters to the Indonesian Ambassador in Canberra by emailing kbri.visa@gmail.com. > Send us your messages of support on our Facebook page, Twitter @MercyCampaign and our email address admin@mercycampaign.org. We have received more than 200,000 petitions for Andrew and Myuran. Your petitions have been submitted to the highest levels of government in Indonesia and Australia, we know that they have been relied upon in diplomatic exchanges so far but more needs to be done. The call for justice and mercy is stronger if we join with our family, friends and neighbours so let’s give it an urgent boost. Friendship and Mercy Please forward this email with a personal message to friends who haven’t yet signed the petition. You can mark it urgent and include a note to explain why you stand with Andrew and Myuran at this most critical time. Remember to include a link to mercycampaign.org so that your friends pledge their names alongside yours. With your help we can ensure that President Widodo understands that Andrew and Myuran are not standing alone on Nusakambangan. Tolong Berikan Pengampunan For supporters who can’t otherwise tweet in Indonesian you can use the service of Ampuni at www.ampuni.com, which translates powerful phrases calling for mercy into Bahasa Indonesia that you can post to social media. Words of Mercy We know that many of you have been writing personal letters to the Indonesian Government. Your considerate words are important so please don’t stop now. We encourage you to continue submitting your respectful letters to the Indonesian Government, particularly to the Indonesian Ambassador to Australia, His Excellency Nadjib Riphat Kesoema. You’ll find the necessary contact information here. Love and Mercy We will each have intensely personal reactions to the news that Andrew and Myuran have been moved to Nusakambangan. Let us all try to remain as composed as Andrew and Myuran continue to be. We will be grateful to see your photographs, videos and other creative, compassionate and respectful messages of support on Facebook, Twitter and email. Yours in hope and sincerity, The Mercy team.
