Because we have been seeing the rise of good female led movies (such as Wonder Woman and the upcoming Captain Marvel) it should be appropriate that a fan favorite character like Mera gets her own solo movie that could deal with her origin or a solo mission where Aquaman or Wonder Woman can cameo. Plus so far with the images of Mera we have given positive responses and are eager to see her in Aquaman. Therefore it also will be a box office success unlike the other DCEU movies and will not just bring in DC/Aquaman/Mera fans but also Amber Heard fans and casual moviegoers as well.
