Urge Congress to pass a law protecting 800,000 plus Dreamers with DACA

In 2012, the program, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) was put into effect granting protection from deportation for hundreds of thousands of undocumented Immigrants known as Dreamers, who came to the U.S. as young babies and children without any choice in the matter.
Currently, there are around 800,000 plus Dreamers with DACA in the U.S., of which nearly 8,000 have benefited around the state of Tennessee, and 2,000 plus in the city of Memphis. The DACA program has given Dreamers in the state of Tennessee and Memphis the ability to acquire a job with benefits, obtain a Social Security number, gain better access to higher education and more fully participate in their communities.
However, despite the protection and benefits DACA provides for Dreamers, President Trump's administration has decided to rescind the DACA program in 6 months (March 2018), which will end the expiration dates for 800,000 plus young immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as young babies and children, and who have been in the country for at least 10 years, registered with the government and are working or going to school and helping make the U.S. and Memphis, Tennessee better.
With 6 months until the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program rescinds, we have an amazing privilege and opportunity to urge Congress to pass a law similar to the Dream Act of 2017 that protects the 800,000 Dreamers from deportation, losing their jobs and chances of pursuing high education, and fulfilling the gifts and talents God has given them as His Image bearers.
Deuteronomy 10:18 says, "He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing." God executes justice for the marginalized and loves the Immigrant by giving him or her food and clothing. One way we can love Immigrant Dreamers is by signing this petition urging Congress to pass a law that protects these young people because it's not their fault they came to the U.S. as young babies and children without any choice in the matter. Please consider signing!
