The justification for this petition is now amply clear

Dear all,

Mythili Ramprasad and myself thank you for the support. Today's develoments and declaration by the police with regard to the crime makes this petition even more relevant. It is simply unconscionable that we can declare non-occurance of rape and yet destroy crucial evidence that will support that claim. There is no dignity in life or death for this lady and the chance of a dignified trial and punishment is remote. We really need to preserve evidence and ensure justice.
