While working hours have steadily increased in many nations, Iceland has been quietly trialling a four-day week to see how it impacted the population. This week, the results were in. 

The findings? Employees doing fewer hours for the same pay felt healthier, less stressed and spent more time with loved ones. Hardly a revelation, perhaps. But what might surprise some people is that productivity levels either remained the same, or increased.
