!5% of jobs in South Korea are expected to be automated by 2024. In a move to prepare people for the increase use of robots , and to help during the pandemic 13 million people have a UBI including newborns. One constraint is the money must be spent locally before the next pay out. Local businesses have benefitted and markets potentially at risk of collapse are managing to survive.
