Petition updateSave Dumbarton Street Grassland

Please write letters to Members of Parliament

Nadine RichingsReservoir, Australia
Sep 2, 2019

Please write letters to Members of Parliament and ask them to protect this critically endangered grassland.

Individual letters have a far more significant impact than Proforma letters (which are are not well-received).

Some points to consider:

  • this is a critically endangered grassland (ecosystem) - less than 0.1% remains
  • listed at both federal (EPBC Act 1999) and state (FFG Act 1988) level
  • Biodiversity is critical to human life and survival
  • engaging with nature is necessary to health and well-being
  • the importance of green space to communities and the liveability of cities

Please write to all 10 MPs listed below.
Please send your emails individually to MPs (a bulk send, with multiple MP recipients, is likely to trigger spam filters)
Please send your letter more than once - twice a week or more until you receive a reply.
