Thanks to your support, during Nov 2017 the Law Commission of India has drafted 2 new laws to end the cruelty to birds. See the press cutting as an attachment. [You can also find the announcement in the PETA website]. We are yet to see how effectively the new law will be implemented, still this is certainly a welcome move in the right direction.
