McDonald's Canada and Tim Hortons encourage customers to use paper cups by not offering a discount to those who bring their own.  Furthermore, those who bring their own cups miss out on reward offerings provided by the companies.

We ask McDonalds and Tim Hortons Restaurants to reduce the amount of paper cups filling up our landfills by incentivizing Canadians to bring their own reusable cups and offering a sticker or scratch card during promotional events like Roll up the Rim.
