TODAY Nestle’s Awesome Burger launched in the United States. The long-awaited plant-based burger is causing news outlets, like CNN Business, to speculate that this is the vegan patty that McDonald’s has been holding out for in order to finally launch a plant-based burger on their menu. 

In Germany, McDonald’s + Nestle’s +  Big Vegan TS is already a hit in the European market, and a U.S. counterpart could make Nestle’s Awesome Burger the largest plant-based patty in the industry.
