If you bring a reusable cup to McDonald’s, employees say they are not allowed to touch it.  The coffee is poured into a disposable cup and handed to you.  You then have to pour from one to the other (probably in the store) and then toss the cup.  What an awful process.  That disposable cup was used for 10 seconds, then thrown out, and will most likely never be recycled.  

 The Starbucks and Tim Horton restaurants I frequent have been refiling my reusable traveler.  I’m told some establishments even give you 10 cents off your coffee purchase. 

It is crazy to think that in this day and age McDonald’s is so backward thinking.
