We understand that MBR acres in huntingdon breed beagles specifically for research and for use in laboratories across the UK. We understand also that they typically breed over 2000 dogs per year for this purpose.

We utterly disagree with this and believe these dogs should be covered by the same animal welfare laws as our pet dogs and these dogs should be released immediately into suitable and loving homes. It is hypocritical to exclude the dogs at MBR from UK animal welfare laws and it is cruel to keep them in windowless sheds with so little social interaction and no access to outside.

It is unbearably cruel and has to stop! 

We agree to work with a network of experienced and established animal shelters and rehoming charities in the uk to ensure the highest welfare and rehoming criteria are upheld and dogs only go to suitably vetted homes.

These dogs deserve compassion and love and deserve it now!
