With the firing of corrupt public works director Johnston a few weeks ago many of us were looking to a brighter future for infrastructure in Bellingham. I still am, but I've learned not to count my chickens before they hatch as the COB Council are masters of pretending that "Process is Progress" and will hang everything up in process for as long as possible to protect special interests.
