Greetings intrepid public fiber supporters. I come to you today with mostly good news. We've been having good meetings with the mayor and several council members about the importance of public fiber. However, the public works director, Eric Johnston, and IT Director are still saying that they are personally unaware that there is an issue because they have not been personally contacted enough. In fact, Eric says he hasn't received a single contact about this, which we know not to be true. They are even saying that they're sure our school kids are more than adequately connected. I do, of course, send them petition lists, present them at council meetings, and more. So I am writing to ask you specifically to contact them directly and let them know that you need better connectivity.  Please make sure you copy the mayor and the council as well. Part of the game they're playing at our expense is to pretend that communications made to the council and mayor are NOT communications they need to pay attention to. Here is their contact info.
