I'm happy to say that my article was posted on NWCitizen in enough time to give people good info before the City Council decides to violate its own ethics statements and help a company that is fighting to violate freedom of the press and other first amendment rights expand in our community on Monday (aka CenturyLink). Hopefully it will have some impact. A reminder: Although the City can't regulate CenturyLink (that's done at the state level) they can deny them a cable franchise, and hamper their ability to expand rapidly. This is very low risk for us since traditional TV is going the way of the dinosaur anyway and appropriate since their Anti-Net Neutrality stance is unethical.
