At 5:30 this evening, Live 5 News posted the attached news article indicating that Mayor Will Haynie said he wants to consider a face mask regulation.

Whether our petition helped lead to this decision or not, I think this is great progress towards our goal! I encourage you to continue sharing this petition with others in hopes that they too will consider signing. I have emailed Mayor Haynie and asked him if I could share the results of this petition and its comments with him. Hopefully I will receive a response and if so, I will share it with you.
