With five City Councillors and over 2,700 members of the public asking Mayor Tory to adopt 'A Path Forward' through this petition, we are gaining momentum. Why? Because collectively we know that a militarized approach to encampments does nothing to solve homelessness — it only causes direct physical as well as psychological harm to people residing outdoors. A Path Forward can better address homelessness using compassion and a human rights compliant approach.
