Helena Moreno, New Orleans  Councilmember-At-Large stated that was proud to stand with the people of the Treme and those across the city to reaffirm that Armstrong Park and Congo Square are sacred grounds and foundational to the sanctity of the historic Treme neighborhood. And further, that Municipal Auditorium should be preserved and redeveloped for a Cultural purpose. Relocating City Hall must be an inclusive, community-centric process and today, we took steps to require that any such relocation is led by the people and requires Council approval. #NoCompromise
