Breya Blkbrrymolassez Knight was a poet who passed away sunday August 14, 2016 but her powerful uplifting words have changed the mentality of so many people in her community. We are proud of who she is and invite who she will be. She is changing the views of Newark citizens by the way she loved her community, her world, her country and herself. Breya Blkbrrymolassez Knight individuality seeped into the city in a way that has awakened the sleep and energized the ambitious. We want every Second Sunday of August to be A city Holiday representing her poetry and all she stands for. Her purpose was valid to the present and will be to the future.
