We have great news to share, Cmb Eric Bunch and co-signers Mayor Lucas, Cmb Bough, Cmb Loar and Cmb Fowler have filed resolution 200019 calling for the creation of a Vision Zero task force, and directing the City Manager to work with that task force and create a Vision Zero plan with the real goal of eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries by 2030.  

Thank you all for your support! Your support has helped make this happen. Currently we have 990 signatures, and we will be beginning a physical petition drive starting Monday.  While this is good news, this is just the start of many more months of hard fights. This resolution has to go to council for first reading, then to committee and public comment, and then if/when passed out of committee it goes back to the full council. We will need people to show up to all the Transportation, Infrastructure and Operations committee meetings where this resolution will be heard.
