These birds are being poisoned, shot at ( some survive with horrible bullet wounds that end up killing them); caught in nets, at the mercy of hunting dogs and those that manage to live are either strangled, with their necks broken by their hunters ( I will spare you these images, but I have seen them, and I cannot forgive nor forget), or they are gassed to a painful frightening death. Now, the government has started to remove nests at night, when there is less chance of people coming out to help the helpless babies that have been thrown to the ground. These helpless creatures are left there at night, with no food, no shelter, no warmth, and there for any predator to come attack them. What in the name of god, is this? How can this be allowed to go on? I would include photos of poisoned birds, strangled birds, feathers lying on the ground, but I will spare you that. Please boycott Spain for this cruelty, it is totally unnecessary, ineffective  and completely unjust!
