Rites have been appointed by the Govt for safety audit. But the time provided seems inadequate. Only 3 months have been given to them to complete their assessment, which according to Rites is quite insufficient. So they would be doing visual observation and submit a preliminary report. They would not be able to complete 6 steps involved in safety audit. Until and unless that is done I cannot declare this petition as a victory. But, nonetheless, things have moved forward post-election. This is some sort of a victory for the 7500+ supporters of this petitiion.
