The Response from City of Houston and A Conclusion!

Hello everyone, I want to say a really big Thank You for caring about recycling and signing this petition! Mrs. Veronica Weatherspoon, the Correspondence & Constituent Services division manager of the City of Houston Government replied to an email I sent with a thorough explanation of the city's recycling efforts. An image of her email is included above! After receiving Mrs. Weatherspoon's email and continuing my personal research, I have seen that the city of Houston and surrounding suburban cities have been working hard for the resources that are available right now and have been doing a great job with where we are currently at. The continued growth and expansion of recycling to each neighborhood is based on the personal community member's view of the importance of recycling. It is our vote that decides if our neighborhoods have a recycling option or not. I consider this petition a Success because it helped me realize that my next steps moving forward are to help in the process of cultivating awareness about the importance of recycling!
