Time for Orange County, Florida to become a "No Kill" county.

Time for Orange County, Florida to become a "No Kill" county.
The Issue
I sit here in tears knowing that several highly adoptable, healthy young dogs will die via heartstick injection tomorrow morning at Orange County Services in Orlando, FL because our county leaders have failed to act.
Sadly, this is not an uncommon occurance. Everyday, healthy, adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in this country, but many cities and counties across Florida, including our neighbors in Seminole and Lake counties made it a priority to pass "no kill" legislation.
If Seminole and Lake Counties can become "No Kill" counties, why can't Orange County?
In addition, $500,000 was supposedly allocated in the budget to build a new shelter in Orange County to relieve overcrowding. The citizens of Orange County, meanwhile wait for action from our Mayor and County Commissioners.
As an Orange County taxpayer, I want change. I want my elected leaders to stand up for the voiceless and the innocent, our precious shelter pets no matter the cost.
Please help me petition the elected leaders in Orange County, Florida to help make "No Kill" a reality. Do it for all the dogs and cats that have paid with their lives due to no fault of their own.
Thank you for your help,
Shane Pagano
