We are so close to meeting our goal of 5000 signatures so we may go to Council.
The author notes that the overpopulation of stray and unwanted animals has been an issue in Norfolk County when Organizations were ignored in 2003, 2004, 2005, and Simcoe and District Humane Society hopes with this petition, things may change.
It is now very much out of hand ... and most of the groups are out of financial wellbeing.
Simcoe and District Humane Society also believes that ALL organizations need to band together to make a supported effort to get something moving to help the animals. This is the Village's Problem and it's going to take the village of Animal related organizations to help!
There are limited Resources, including donations, volunteers, and space to house all the animals ... no matter how big the building.
Please, we need 92 signatures to hit our 5000 signature goal. Please if you care about the animals (all domestics, wildlife, farm, birds, fish and yes Reptiles)
