The process to create new NSGs has been a mess from City of Port Phillip from the start in July 2021 to the present a year on. It is very clear now that CoPP have completely underestimated how important street gardening and street gardens are to the community and the council officers in charge of these guidelines are woefully ill-equipped to write this document.

Please fill out the Have Your Say Round 2 (that both locals and outsiders can fill out) which closes on July 8th. If you have written before, please write again and simply send in the same submission with an introductory sentence! If you haven't written in please do so! I have written to the CEO Peter Smith and the Councillors asking them to start again with a clean slate and work with the street gardeners so that a reasonable and workable document for both council and residents can be created.

Also, as it hasn't been addressed or taken on board, I have re-submitted the 84-page evidence-based document that I put together at the beginning of the year. I will be submitting this petition again formally as well as it backs up that submission.
