It’s been sometime since we’ve been on top of this petition and I took a break to focus on a few personal things. 

Let’s not forget why I started this petition and that it’s never going away, unless we do something about it. Right now, the main focus for Chicago is of course, COVID-19 vaccinations. Although it is too priority, and we want to be safe and keep our family members safe, there is still room for other issues happening in our city. In addition to Covid-19, crime, events, etc., there’s still the snow removal issue that we face EVERY....SINGLE....YEAR! Our city can focus on multiple things at once. So there shouldn’t be an excuse.

I’m still looking for a solution and a response from our city’s Mayor Lightfoot and DSS Commisioner Tully. I’m not waiting until the next winter to have to beg for a better snow removal plan. I want it now, so we can have a better winter, starting the Winter of 2021.

We all know that our Mayor and Commissioner probably don’t struggle with the snow. They have people that struggle for them. Let’s remind them on when they were us before they were them. All I’m asking is for a better snow removal plan, possibly like they do with street cleaning. Even if there’s a small change, I would like to see it happen for us Chicagoans to struggle less in these upcoming winters.
