Major events are being cancelled all over the world, and the US.  The American Physical Event was just cancelled in Denver - 10,000 people from 3 continents.  We should not panic, but we should not throw up our hands and accept unnecessary high risks.  We need to be logical and sensible using math and science to make important decisions with respect to public health.

Learn more and sign this petition to help our leadership understand that while we don't advocate panic, we do expect them to take the same wise steps so many others have taken to protect their own citizens and those traveling to an event who might carry it back home.  It's the best decision for our local citizens and our brothers and sisters across the globe.  A short-term loss with a long-term windfall both economically and in terms of public health and loss of life.
