This petition is important because it will precipitate more respect for local artists, art and Mr. Agostini's livelihood. In Trinidad and Tobago there is a gross misunderstanding about the importance of creative expressions, as well as creative products. This mentality trivialises the pivotal role creatives play in the development of our culture and by extension, nation. This petition is a stance to encourage respect, reverence, support and longevity of our local artists and their work.
