Liverpool City Council chief executive Ged Fitzgerald has again been re-bailed for a further three months by detectives investigating allegations of conspiring to pervert the course of justice and intimidating witnesses.

Mayor Anderson states Mr. Fitzgerald has stepped down from his position yet he continues to receive his £200,000 per year salary.

We have homeless people dying on the streets - adult social care near bankrupt - we have food banks and a third of child in Liverpool living in poverty.
