On June 26, federal Environment Minister Catherine McKenna is expected to put forth a motion containing the following points:

• Do not renew the contract to sell single-use plastic beverage bottles in municipal buildings
• Eliminate the sale of single-use plastic in all municipal buildings
• Allocate more funding to promote Ottawa’s excellent municipal tap water
