Dear supporters of a safe 35th ave NE- Thank you so much for your support. We were able to get over 800 signatures in less than three weeks. We delivered the petition to the mayors office, but the project remains at risk. If you have a few minutes to write even one or two sentence to jenny.durkan@seattle.gov and council@seattle.gov, it could provide the pressure that makes the difference. The mayor should be making a decision any day. With projects city-wide on the chopping block despite years of planning and outreach, we need to communicate now more than ever that safety for all users needs to be the top priority for our streets.
