Today would have been George Floyd’s 47th birthday. In honor of his life, here are three things you can do right now, according to Floyd family Attorney, Benjamin Crump: 

1. Check your voter registration.
2. Make a plan to vote, including researching Attorneys General and District Attorneys who make key justice decisions in your community.  
3. Call your senators and ask them to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.

George Floyd’s family is honoring his birthday by helping folks get registered to vote. A new mural of George Floyd was also unveiled this week (pictured above). The mural, which is located in his hometown of Houston, Texas, says “Be the Change” and “Go Vote.”
