We have received support from several attorneys and met with Mayor Trilla, our Village Administrator, and our Village Attorney to discuss various legal aspects related to the zoning decision before the Trustees. There are teams of people going door to door, we have yard signs up in neighborhoods, there are phone banks making calls to inform residents, people are contacting businesses and houses of worship, a new Facebook page was setup (nowillowbrookgunrange), and media advisories have been updated and sent to TV, radio, print, and online media outlets. Please attend Monday's meeting on May 22 at 6:30 at the Marriott Southwest in Burr Ridge at 1200 Burr Ridge Parkway in Burr Ridge, IL. Please bring family and friends, talk to your neighbors, etc... although we had approximately 250 people present on April 24th, more residents came out to oppose a proposed movie theater where Target is now located. I believe a gun range/gun store is a more controversial end use and ask that you attend the Board meeting Monday night. Now is the time to stand up and make your voice heard!
